Description

CHECK24 is offering an internship in the CFO Office in Munich focused on software development, supporting the CFO with the technical evolution of the company's finance IT and in-house software products used across the organization. The intern owns a software product used by multiple teams from day one, working end-to-end from concept through implementation to live operation alongside full-stack developers. The role combines hands-on fullstack engineering (PHP-adjacent stack, TypeScript, React, Java/C#, SQL) with close collaboration with the CFO on data-driven decision-making tools. Candidates should be at least in their 4th semester of a relevant degree with prior independent software projects and fluent German and English.

Requirements

  • Studying at least in the 4th semester of Computer Science, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, or Mathematics at a top university with excellent academic performance
  • Has already implemented own software projects beyond university coursework, e.g. through internships or personal tools
  • For you, AI is not just a research tool but a core technology you have used directly in your IDE, for data analysis, or in prototypes
  • Solid prior experience in fullstack development (e.g. Java, C#, or Python) and frontend frameworks like React, ideally from internships or personal projects
  • Structured, precise, results- and solution-oriented working style with attention to detail and high self-initiative
  • Strong interest in online business models, product development, and clean, scalable code
  • Fluent communication in German (C1) and English (C1), able to explain technical topics to non-technical stakeholders
