Description
CHECK24 is looking for a (junior) full stack engineer in Munich to help build secure and scalable payment solutions for millions of CHECK24 users at CHECK24 Zahlungssysteme GmbH. You will develop apps and services for the company's central payment systems, from the React frontend through to a scalable PHP backend, and take features from concept to production together with product management. You take responsibility for the performance, scalability and maintainability of your solutions, contribute actively to code reviews, and work within the high security and PCI compliance requirements of a product used by numerous other CHECK24 products. Modern AI tools are used deliberately for development, testing and technical design work.
Requirements
- Practical software engineering experience with at least one common programming language (PHP, TypeScript, Go, Python, Java or similar)
- Interest in modern frontend and backend development and willingness to develop your skills quickly
- Initial hands-on exposure to web technologies, APIs or databases from studies, projects or work
- Careful and responsible way of working, especially with systems handling sensitive payment data and high security and quality requirements
- Pragmatic approach to technical challenges and constructive collaboration with colleagues
- Very good German (at least C1) and good English skills
