Description

Vodafone is looking for an Expert Co-Usage Radio Network Planning specialist at its Ratingen site. The role proactively steers and owns the implementation of network rollout strategies and planning concepts for building and modernising mobile networks, focusing on co-usage sites shared by several network operators. The postholder is responsible for site designs of the radio and access network and decides on site configurations and system technology. The job involves constant negotiation with the other operators at a site to secure the best possible network configuration for Vodafone, and acts as the main contact for national network operators, tower companies and their partners. It can be performed full-time or in near-full-time part-time of at least 30 hours per week, with hybrid working of up to three home-office days.

Requirements

  • Completed university degree or comparable qualification
  • At least 4 years of professional experience
  • In-depth experience in telecommunications technology
  • Strong conceptual and analytical thinking and working style
  • Solid knowledge of professional project management
  • Negotiation skills to assert Vodafone's interests with other network operators, tower companies and their partners
  • In-depth knowledge of the market environment and current legal and technological developments
  • Very good German language skills, written and spoken, at C1 level
