Description

As Senior Expert Planning at Vodafone GmbH in Ratingen you proactively drive the implementation of network rollout strategies and planning concepts for building and modernising mobile networks, with a focus on co-usage sites shared by several network operators. You own the creation of site designs for the mobile radio and access network and decide on site configurations and system technology. You are in constant exchange with the other operators at a site to enforce the best possible Vodafone network configuration. You steer the project at the interface to a dedicated network of external partners and act as first contact for national network operators, tower companies and their partners.

Requirements

  • Completed university degree or comparable qualification
  • At least 5 years of professional experience
  • In-depth experience in telecommunications engineering
  • Strong conceptual and analytical thinking and sound knowledge of professional project management
  • Technical leadership skills to shape specialist topics and represent positions in workshops and working groups
  • Negotiation skills to assert Vodafone's interests with other network operators, tower companies and their partners
  • In-depth knowledge of the market environment and of current legal and technological developments
  • Very good written and spoken German (C1 CEFR)
