Description

Junior tax consultant role in the tax team of CHECK24 Services GmbH at the company's Munich headquarters. You independently prepare tax calculations, tax balance sheets and tax returns for the German group companies, with a focus on corporations, and act as a contact for tax questions from business units and subsidiaries. You research and assess questions in corporate income tax, wage tax, VAT and international tax law, and support tax audits including preparation of documents and communication with the tax authorities. A further focus is digitalising and automating the tax function, including the use of modern AI tools, and contributing to the tax compliance management system as well as leading tax projects.

Requirements

  • Completed degree in economics with a focus on accounting or taxation, or training/further qualification as a certified tax specialist (Steuerfachwirt)
  • First professional experience in corporate taxation, ideally in a tax firm or the tax department of a company
  • Sound knowledge of income tax law as well as VAT and international tax law
  • Confident use of MS Office
  • Analytical thinking and a structured, careful and independent way of working
  • Enjoyment of implementing tax questions in a practical, solution-oriented way
  • Interest in digitalisation, automation and the use of modern technologies in the tax area
  • Clear, audience-appropriate written and spoken communication in German at negotiation level (C2)
  • Team spirit, initiative and willingness to take responsibility
