Description

Vodafone is looking for a Service Engineer (Specialist) to handle problem management for recurring faults and complex incidents across business and wholesale products such as Ethernet Business and Carrier Services. You will resolve incidents end-to-end in direct contact with the customer, from report to service restoration, and coordinate fault resolution with partners, engineering, vendors and third parties during major network events and escalations. The role includes proactively detecting and tracking service degradations and network faults through monitoring, and acting as a multiplier through side-by-side coaching and knowledge-management documentation. The position is based in Düsseldorf or Eschborn (Vodafone GmbH) or Heidelberg (Vodafone West GmbH), with hybrid working and full-time or near-full-time part-time options.

Requirements

  • Completed degree in a technical field
  • More than 2 years of professional experience, e.g. in communications engineering, electrical engineering or computer science
  • Strong customer and service orientation
  • Ability to make effective and timely decisions
  • High flexibility and solution-oriented approach
  • Business-fluent German and English, written and spoken (CEFR C1)
