Description
trivago is hiring a Junior International Media Buyer for its Media & Marketing team in Düsseldorf, owning TV and CTV campaigns end-to-end across several international markets. The role covers planning, negotiating with agencies and media partners, and optimizing live campaigns, plus forecasting spend and managing monthly financial accruals. It carries real budget ownership from early on, with room to grow scope across markets, channels, and formats. Candidates need hands-on media-buying experience, strong negotiation skills, and fluent English.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience planning and buying media campaigns and owning budgets, ideally including TV or CTV across more than one market
- Proven ability to independently negotiate pricing, conditions, and added value with agencies and media partners
- Strong communication skills and fluency in English, with a collaborative approach in a diverse international team
- Openness to occasional travel
- Genuine learning mindset toward campaign data and unfamiliar markets
- Performance mindset with determination to achieve ambitious goals
