Description

As Specialist Transport Network Planning you independently plan and engineer extensive network-expansion measures in the microwave (radio-relay) network for mobile base stations in the SW region, focusing on end-to-end performance, cost optimisation and quality. You develop and realise network-expansion strategies and planning concepts for the broadband connection of mobile stations, supporting the ongoing 5G rollout. You coordinate external partners and suppliers within planning projects and provide technical steering of external staff to ensure targeted implementation. The role requires a technical or scientific degree, at least 3 years of experience in network planning and/or telecom project management, and is based in Stuttgart as a hybrid role.

Requirements

  • Completed technical or scientific degree
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in network planning and/or project management within the telecommunications industry
  • Sound knowledge of radio and transport networks, the technologies used and mobile network infrastructure
  • Independent, structured and goal-oriented work style with high initiative, teamwork and resilience
  • Strong analytical, conceptual and organisational skills with the ability to apply theory in a practical, solution-oriented way
  • Confident presence, good presentation skills and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Business-fluent German and very good English (C1 CEFR) in speech and writing
