Description

Placement for legal trainees (Rechtsreferendare) in their elective station within the Compliance department of Vodafone GmbH in Düsseldorf. Trainees get a broad insight into the work of in-house lawyers at a global telecommunications company, focusing on anti-corruption, conflicts of interest, economic sanctions and trade controls. They review and assess legal questions, support legal advice to business departments and assist in implementing national and international policies. Applicants need the first state law exam with at least a grade of satisfactory, and the placement starts in January 2027.

Requirements

  • Completed first state law examination (grade: at least 'befriedigend')
  • Independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working, persuasiveness and initiative
  • Confident demeanour and the ability to present complex matters simply and clearly
  • Open personality with strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Good to very good German and English, written and spoken
