Description

T-Systems is looking for a Principal IT Project Manager to take on strategic and operational management of complex software development, SAP, or transformation projects. The role includes managing external and internal stakeholders at C-level, leading global teams using classic and agile approaches, setting up project teams, managing requirements and backlog, and running an efficient risk management system. The position is within the Digital Enabler business area, which delivers data-centric solutions across industries such as automotive, manufacturing, telco, public sector, and health. The role can be part-time and requires travel.

Requirements

  • Completed training or studies in IT or business
  • At least 10 years of experience in IT project management of software development projects
  • Successful completion of several major projects/programs across various subject areas
  • Experience with projects of 100+ employees and near/offshore shares
  • Very good knowledge and extensive experience delivering complex software solutions using Scaled Agile, DevOps, Continuous Integration, etc.
  • Exceptionally good communication and presentation skills in German and English
  • Experience preparing requirements analyses in complex agile projects, with detailed knowledge of contract, risk and claim management
