Description

LAP Coffee is looking for a Store Manager (m/f/d) to run one of its stores in Munich, owning day-to-day operations including team leadership, shift organization, customer service, and driving sales and profitability. The role covers team scheduling, training adherence, product quality and waste reduction, health and safety compliance, KPI and inventory tracking, and building relationships with the local community. Candidates need at least 2-3 years of leadership experience in hospitality or retail, such as shift lead, head barista, or junior manager, with a track record in team scaling and inventory management, plus fluency in English and German. The role is onsite in Munich and offers the chance to help scale an early-stage specialty coffee startup.

Requirements

  • At least 2-3 years of leadership experience in hospitality or retail (e.g. Shift-Lead, Head Barista, Junior Manager, F&B Manager)
  • Strong track record in team scaling, inventory, and supply chain management
  • Entrepreneurial, solution-focused, and adaptable to fast-paced, start-up environments
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills under pressure
  • Proven ability to spot growth opportunities, test ideas, and execute within tight budgets
  • Willing to travel occasionally for new opportunities
  • Fluency in English and German
