Description

As a trained train driver (m/f/d) with a valid locomotive license, you will ensure safe and punctual train journeys for FlixTrain, primarily departing from Leipzig (also from Halle and Erfurt) and supporting other routes nationwide as needed. You will take responsibility for thousands of passengers daily, ensuring sustainable rail mobility. The role involves operating trains on the nationwide FlixTrain network, communicating with the control center, colleagues, and passengers, and maintaining a safe, punctual, and economical service. You will also handle preparatory and concluding tasks to ensure operational readiness and support shift work, including weekends and holidays.

Requirements

  • Completed training as a train driver (Triebfahrzeugführer:in)
  • Valid driver's license TfV Class A+B1 or VDV 753 Class 3
  • Very good German language skills (at least B2)
  • Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Willingness to stay overnight for assignments in other cities
