Description

As a Senior General Ledger Accountant, you will be the backbone of our finance department and drive the scalability of our general ledger accounting. In our modern SAP S/4HANA environment, you will take responsibility for complex closing processes, ensure impeccable data quality in our subsystems, and shape intercompany workflows. With your accounting expertise, you will transform traditional bookkeeping into highly automated, future-proof financial processes and lay the foundation for FINN's global growth. You will manage the general ledger for selected entities, drive monthly and annual financial statements, and act as a competent interface during audits and tax reviews. Additionally, you will optimize data and automation, manage complex financial instruments, streamline intercompany workflows, and ensure compliance with legal regulations and internal guidelines.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of HGB accounting and proven experience with complex financial instruments (e.g., ABS structures or receivables sales), paired with a relevant degree or qualification as Bilanzbuchhalter (IHK).
  • Solid experience in applying and optimizing modern ERP systems (preferably SAP S/4HANA) and a highly analytical, structured, and numbers-oriented way of working.
  • Strong team spirit and the ability to communicate complex issues precisely in German (at least B2) and good, confident English skills.
