Description

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is launching the inaugural European Sovereign Cloud (ESC) and is actively seeking support engineers for this initiative. As a Cloud Support Engineer on the AWS Support team for ESC, you will assist a global list of companies and developers using a growing set of services to run their mission-critical applications. You will act as a 'Cloud Ambassador,' providing customers with the tools and tactics to maximize their product and support investment. The role requires fluency in both German and English, and involves solving customer cases via telephone, email, and web/live chat, applying advanced troubleshooting techniques, and mentoring new hires. This position requires the flexibility to work 5 days a week on a rotational basis, including occasional weekends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent, or experience effectively communicating complex concepts through written and verbal communication
  • Must be a national of an EU member state
  • Excellent oral/written communication skills in English and German
  • Legal right to work in Germany
  • On-call responsibility
