Description

Orbem uses AI to industrialize MRI, providing non-invasive insights into biological matter to reduce waste and improve quality. As a foundational electrical engineer, you will join the Hardware Engineering team to establish and lead electrical design best practices, advancing the electrical architecture of complex automation systems. Your role will evolve from hands-on design to advising the electrical engineering team and shaping the future of electrical design. You will ensure compliance with EU and US standards, mentor junior engineers, and act as a subject matter expert. Requirements

  • Vast experience in electrical engineering, particularly in the (food) automation industry.
  • Proficient in creating and interpreting wiring diagrams and designing electrical distribution boxes, motor control circuits and PLC systems for automation systems (EPLAN, SolidWorks Electrical, AutoCad Electrical).
  • Proven expertise with low and high voltage system design.
  • Great understanding of relevant regulations and the ability to define guidelines and best practices to be followed by others.
  • Strong collaborative skills and a proactive, 'get-it-done' attitude.
