Description

lemon.markets is a Brokerage-as-a-Service platform that enables FinTechs, banks, and wealth managers to offer investment products via a simple API. As part of the dwpbank Group, we aim to make investing in capital markets more accessible. We are hiring our first Corporate Actions Specialist to take full ownership of the end-to-end corporate actions lifecycle, from announcement capture and validation through elections, entitlement calculation, and final settlement. You will work closely with Product and Engineering to design and scale the operating model, coordinate with external stakeholders, and drive automation. This role offers a unique opportunity to build and optimize an entire function within a growing, technology-first company.

Requirements

  • Deep, hands-on experience in Corporate Actions Operations across fintechs, banks, custodians, brokers, or asset servicers, covering the full end-to-end lifecycle from event capture and validation through elections, taxation, reconciliation, and settlement.
  • Practical familiarity with the German retail investing market and understanding of European regulatory requirements (e.g., tax reporting, disclosures, market deadlines).
  • Comfortable operating within custody structures and market infrastructure (including CSDs/depositories) and building effective working relationships with custodians and other counterparties.
  • Thrive in complex exception management, confidently running investigations end-to-end (e.g., cash/securities breaks, tax discrepancies, rate validations) and driving issues to clear, documented resolution.
  • Pair an eye for detail with a strong risk, controls, and auditability mindset, ensuring outcomes are accurate, timely, and scalable.
  • Track record of driving process improvements and automation, partnering closely with Product and Engineering to remove manual work and reduce operational risk.
  • Communicate fluently in English (C1).
