Description

lemon.markets is a Brokerage-as-a-Service platform that provides simple digital access to capital markets through a single API. As part of the dwpbank group, we enable FinTechs, banks, and wealth managers to offer investment products to their customers. In this role, you will design and build backend services for our brokerage API platform, taking ownership of features end-to-end in cross-functional teams. You will focus on customer lifecycle, investing, and banking processes, ensuring our core platform is reliable and scalable. Our tech stack includes Python, FastAPI, AWS, and PostgreSQL.

Requirements

  • Ability to write well-structured and tested code in more than one high-level programming language such as Python, Golang, Java, or Ruby, plus another language like JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • Experience in designing and implementing highly scalable architecture and reliable REST APIs.
  • Good experience with software in a cloud environment (AWS, GCP, Azure) and architectural patterns for this environment.
  • Good understanding of more than one document-based or relational database technology such as MySQL/PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
  • Ability to write high-quality code that is understandable, maintainable, and well tested, and can guide other engineers via code reviews.
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to provide in-depth evaluations and analyses of unique and complex technological issues.
  • Track record of designing, building, and operating reliable and scalable backend systems as part of a cross-functional team.
