Description

In this role, you will lead a cross-functional team responsible for Statista's internal Content Tooling platform, a key enabler for in-house researchers and data engineers. Collaborating closely with a Product Manager, you will shape the roadmap, empower a senior engineering team, and deliver high-quality, scalable, and cost-efficient solutions, including AI-enabled content production at scale.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience leading cross-functional, product-oriented engineering teams
  • Solid grasp of full-stack development, ideally with Java, React, and both relational and NoSQL databases
  • Strong understanding of distributed system design, particularly microservice architectures
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset - you build strong relationships with senior engineers, product peers, other engineering managers, and various stakeholders
  • Familiarity with building applications on AWS
