Description

As a Staff Engineer in the Supply Chain Management organization, you will define, secure, and implement technical solutions for business problems. You will play a critical role as systems scale from 1.2 million to over 2.4 million produced boxes per week due to recent software product consolidation. You will accelerate development, decision-making, and problem-solving, working with neighboring teams to achieve clearer architecture and boundaries. You will communicate directly with business stakeholders and multiple tech teams supporting local markets, reporting to the Director of Engineering in the Production tribe. This role does not include people management responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Ideally 10+ years of engineering experience, including 2+ years in a staff/principal level capacity and technical leadership.
  • Strong capability in working with different stakeholders and experience addressing physical world problems with software solutions.
  • Full-Stack & Agentic Engineering: Deep problem-solving skills and full-stack proficiency (e.g., C#, Python, Golang, and modern frontend technologies). Hands-on experience leveraging AI coding agents (Cursor, Copilot, Claude Code) in production, including context engineering, workflow decomposition, and implementing strict guardrails for reliable agent outputs.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing modular systems, including proficiency in synchronous/asynchronous communication.
  • A team player attitude and a passion for helping others grow through peer-to-peer mentoring, knowledge-sharing sessions, and advocating for best engineering practices such as CI/CD, TDD, BDD, DDD, and Design Patterns.
  • An agile mindset with the ability to advocate for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Communication skills are vital as you will interact with front-end developers, designers, product managers, and teams around the world.
