Description

The Lead/Principal Value Engineer acts as a trusted advisor, responsible for the end-to-end value journey of customers, including landing, expanding, adopting, and renewing. This role involves translating customer objectives into value assessments, building business cases and demos, running value workshops, and engaging with senior stakeholders. The position requires native-level German proficiency and blends deep process and industry expertise with consulting and analytical skills.

Requirements

  • Experience in an analytical role focused on demonstrating or securing value through business data analysis, process improvement, and software deployment.
  • Good knowledge of Business Software/SaaS applications (e.g., SAP), experience with RPA and/or BI tools, and building dashboards, apps, and action flows.
  • Knowledge of Python and/or SQL.
  • Experience in identifying use cases for business process improvement and deploying improvement measures.
  • Experience in planning and managing project scopes, expectations, and timelines.
  • Experience in preparing and communicating value roadmaps and results to stakeholders and management.
  • Understanding of Finance and/or Supply Chain domain and strategic transformation initiatives.
  • Degree in Technology & Management, Industrial/Business Engineering, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or comparable.
  • Native-level or near-native German language skills (written and spoken).
