Description

AurumCars, based in Munich, is CHECK24's own car rental provider. They are seeking a motivated (Junior) Fullstack Developer to strengthen their team. The role involves working on exciting topics around the multilingual car rental domain, including comparison results, booking routes, customer self-services, internal tools, and web frontends. The developer will collaborate closely with backend, frontend, and product teams as well as external partners, and will be responsible for the technical implementation of product improvements. The position offers the opportunity to work with modern tools, technologies, and AI methods to drive data-driven innovation.

Requirements

  • Excellent degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable field of study
  • Initial experience in software development and a solid understanding of object-oriented programming
  • Very good knowledge of at least one programming or scripting language, such as PHP, Python, Golang, or TypeScript
  • Experience with frameworks such as Symfony, relational databases (SQL), and ideally Linux/DevOps knowledge
  • Experience with modern frontend technologies such as React or React Router, combined with a good sense for UI/UX, responsive web development, and user-friendly interfaces
  • Enthusiasm for AI and experience using AI development tools, such as Claude Code or Cursor
  • Passion for web development, clean code principles, strong willingness to learn, and a hands-on mentality
  • Proactivity, strong team spirit, and excellent communication skills
  • Fluent German skills at negotiation level, at least C1, and good English skills at B2 level
