Description

AurumCars, based in Munich, is CHECK24's own car rental provider. We offer the right rental car for every trip, prioritizing customer satisfaction and an excellent rental car experience by partnering only with selected and renowned vehicle rental companies. Through the targeted use of cutting-edge tools, technologies, and AI methods, we drive data-driven innovations with a focus on customer value. We are looking for a motivated (Junior) Fullstack Developer to join our team at AurumCars GmbH. You will work on exciting topics in our multilingual car rental area, from comparison results and booking flows to self-service customer portals and internal tools.

Requirements

  • Excellent degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable field
  • First experience in software development and a solid understanding of object-oriented programming
  • Active engagement with generative AI (e.g., Cursor AI, Claude, or JetBrains Junie) for automating development tasks and efficiently developing new features
  • Very good command of at least one programming or scripting language (PHP, Python, Golang, TypeScript, etc.)
  • Experience with frameworks like Symfony, relational databases (SQL), and possibly Linux/DevOps knowledge
  • Experience with modern frontend technologies like React or React Router, combined with a good sense for UI/UX, responsive web development, and user-friendly interfaces
  • Enthusiasm for AI and experience using AI development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor) and interest in increasing and further developing their integration into the development process
  • Passion for web development, clean code principles, high willingness to learn, and a hands-on mentality
  • Initiative, strong teamwork, and very good communication skills
  • Negotiation-level German skills (at least C1) and good English skills (B2)
