Description

n8n is an open workflow orchestration platform for the AI era, founded in 2019 and now a team of over 260 people across Europe and the US with its centre of gravity in Berlin. As Deal Desk Manager you will build n8n's deal desk function from scratch in an AI- and automation-first way, covering intake, approval workflows and pricing guardrails. You will advise Sales on deal structure and pricing to protect margin without slowing the sales cycle, handle contract redlines and non-standard terms yourself, and keep most negotiations out of Legal's hands through a clause library that lets AI suggest fallback terms on routine deals. The role also owns Salesforce data quality and executed-contract hygiene, automates approvals and quoting in CPQ, runs monthly and quarterly deal war rooms, and reports on cycle time, discounting and exceptions.

Requirements

  • In-depth experience developing and operating a deal desk function, not only executing a process someone else designed
  • Strong understanding of SaaS pricing models, revenue recognition and ARR reporting principles and enterprise contract structures
  • Ability to negotiate and redline order-form-level terms directly with customers and to judge when to involve Legal
  • Hands-on experience configuring and operating both a CPQ system and Salesforce yourself
  • An AI-native working style with concrete examples of deal or approval workflows you have automated
  • Outstanding communication skills and the ability to influence complex stakeholders across Sales, Legal, RevOps and Finance
  • English is the company language, so professional fluency in English is required
