Description

SumUp, a global fintech serving millions of small businesses, is hiring a Senior Product Analyst for its Central Product Analytics team in Berlin. The role owns the Engagement domain, covering merchant engagement, product activation, support responses and navigation across the SuperApp and web dashboard, and is the primary analytics partner for the Engagement product team. It defines event taxonomies and measurement plans, builds scalable datasets in Snowflake, designs and evaluates A/B tests with statistical validity, and creates dashboards in Tableau. The role shifts the team from reactive reporting to proactive, insight-led decision-making using strong SQL and product analytics skills.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Data or Product Analyst working with customer behaviour data and translating it into product decisions
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, including writing, optimising and validating queries, building data models and code review
  • Strong knowledge of data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Experience with data warehousing platforms like Snowflake, Postgres or Redshift
  • Comfortable designing and analysing end-to-end experiments including A/B tests and feature-flag rollouts with a solid understanding of statistical validity
  • Ability to communicate complex data findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders, with strong written and verbal English
