Description

SumUp's Point of Sale (POS) solution helps cafes, shops, bars, hair salons, and thousands of other businesses manage their day-to-day operations. This role owns the design for Reporting, Sales, and Fiscalisation domains, creating experiences for merchants to analyze performance, manage sales, and navigate local fiscal requirements. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and data teams to deliver clear, trustworthy, and scalable experiences, while helping unify reporting across SumUp's payments, banking, and commerce products. The position is based in Berlin and follows an office-first setup.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years working as a Product Designer, with a portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership across complex digital products.
  • Solid experience designing dashboards, reporting interfaces, or analytics products, with the ability to make complex financial or operational data understandable for non-expert users.
  • Deep expertise in product design, information architecture, and systems thinking, applied across interconnected product ecosystems.
  • Track record of leading product discovery independently, from identifying user problems to validating and shipping solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable aligning diverse stakeholders across product, engineering, and business functions.
  • Proficient in Figma, with familiarity in Miro and Notion and comfort working within modern, collaborative design workflows.
