Description

Vodafone is seeking a Specialist Network Deployment to drive the expansion of its fiber optic network infrastructure in Berlin, Brandenburg, and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The role involves managing FTTP expansion projects, cable network segmentation, and business customer connections, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards. You will coordinate with planning departments, municipalities, and external construction partners to turn plans into reality. The position offers a hybrid working model and is based in Berlin or Schwerin.

Requirements

  • Successfully completed (technical) university degree in business administration or engineering, or equivalent technical training
  • Comprehensive knowledge in telecommunications technology and in the construction/conversion of telecommunications systems and infrastructure
  • At least 2 years of professional experience
  • Project/process experience, especially methods for process analysis and optimization (Lean Six Sigma)
  • Good communication skills and negotiation confidence in dealing with partners
  • Comprehensive knowledge of expansion, provisioning, and operating processes in fiber optic and coaxial networks
  • Good knowledge of services and solutions in the ICT environment
  • Very good English skills in word and writing (B2 according to CEFR)
  • Very good German skills in word and writing (C1 according to CEFR)
