Amazon is seeking a Maintenance Team Lead for our site in Lahntal. The Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) team is central to Amazon's commitment to innovation, ensuring that the technologies and tools we use evolve with our business. In this role, you will help us stay ahead of developments by applying the latest technologies and identifying new, efficient working methods. You will closely monitor our processes and contribute to maintaining and raising our highest safety standards. You will lead a maintenance team during a shift, ensuring all team members have the necessary tools and that preventive maintenance is performed to maximize equipment uptime. You will also make improvement suggestions based on your observations and implement them across the EU network, using tools like SCADA for process monitoring.
Requirements
- Completed technical vocational training recognized by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) or the Chamber of Crafts (HWK), or proof of a successfully completed engineering degree (mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or related) from a German university or recognized foreign university (BA, B.Sc., MA, M.Sc., Dipl.-Ing.)
- Additionally, a completed qualification as Industrial Master, Crafts Master, or State-Certified/Recognized Technician, or several years of relevant professional experience
- Practical experience in leading teams
- Experience in automation and maintenance of conveyor systems
- Advanced German language skills in speaking and writing, and basic English language skills
