DeepL is hiring a Sales Leader to lead, inspire, and set the strategic vision for its Enterprise Sales team in Germany. The role involves building and growing a high-performing team of Account Executives through hiring, onboarding, coaching, and professional development, while owning team performance targets and sales pipeline analysis. The leader will collaborate closely with Sales Development, Solution Consulting, Customer Success, Product, and Marketing, and report predictably to senior leadership on forecasting and progress. The position is based in Munich.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing and developing Enterprise Account Executive teams
  • 5+ years in sales, ideally within a scale-up B2B SaaS environment
  • Currently or recently leading a team of at least 8 Enterprise AEs in a B2B SaaS context
  • Strong grasp of SaaS business models, collaboration technology, and enterprise buying cycles
  • A track record of achieving both personal and team goals
  • Exceptional coaching, mentoring, and communication skills
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a talent for bringing clarity and structure to fast-moving situations
  • Fluency in German and English, with the ability to negotiate in both
