Production Area Manager (all genders)
Description
As an Area Manager at our plant in Barleben near Magdeburg, you will ensure that your production area runs smoothly and that productivity, quality, and safety targets are always met. You will coach and lead your team continuously, fostering a collaborative leadership style to achieve goals. You will monitor and optimize schedules, processes, and work assignments, and drive improvements. You will be responsible for operational performance, resource utilization, and creating a positive work environment that promotes productivity and team spirit.
Requirements
- Completed bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification
- At least 2 years of experience in logistics, production, or a fulfillment center; experience in warehouse logistics is a plus
- Experience in leading employees
- Ideally knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Confident use of KPIs to manage operational processes
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, Google Sheets, and ideally Grafana and Tableau
- Analytical mindset and data-based decision making
- Fluent German and English at least at B2 level
- Strong communication skills, initiative, and team spirit
