Description

REWE digital is the technology home of the REWE Group, a tech team in which IT and non-IT specialists build innovations for retail and for the everyday life of millions of people. This role sits in the Information Security area, part of IT security at REWE digital, which supports teams in developing and operating secure software and works to improve the security culture so that developers can build robust and secure applications. As Information Security Manager for the Stationary Retail domain you are the central interface between the product organisation and the second line of defence and the first contact for security topics inside the domain. You keep domain management and the product leadership informed about current and legal requirements, advise on the security status, support security metrics and risk management, and drive measures that improve information security.

Requirements

  • Several years of professional experience in stakeholder management or project leadership and in IT security, with knowledge of the relevant security requirements and their implementation
  • Completed degree or vocational training in computer science or information security
  • Strong affinity for security topics and continuous interest in personal development
  • First experience with the organisational and process-related aspects of information security and with agile ways of working
  • Convincing communication and strong coordination skills for effective collaboration with different teams and levels
  • Fluent German and good English, as the role is an interface function
