Description

Infrastructure engineering role at arculus (an intralogistics robotics company, part of Jungheinrich) responsible for the reliable delivery and deployment of software systems into customer environments. The engineer owns end-to-end deployments across on-premise and hybrid infrastructures, ensuring they are automated, resilient and production-ready. Responsibilities include configuring and validating infrastructure, troubleshooting deployment issues, building deployment automation and runbooks, implementing rollback and recovery workflows, and monitoring system health. The role operates at the intersection of infrastructure, software and customer environments and coordinates with customer IT on network, security and hardware integration.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Linux systems administration and container runtimes (Docker, Docker Compose)
  • Hands-on experience deploying and operating Kubernetes-based systems in production
  • Solid knowledge of networking (VLANs, firewalls, VPNs, DNS, OT/IT environments)
  • Experience with infrastructure as code and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab) and version control (Git)
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki)
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex environments
  • Experience with certificate management (PKI)
