Description

HelloFresh is hiring a Security Engineer for its Security Operations Centre in Berlin to improve the Security Logging & Monitoring Program by maturing tools, processes and playbooks and reducing dwell time. The role also covers automating, optimising and operating modern security solutions such as EDR/EPP, firewalls, IDS/IPS, email security, VPN and MDM tooling. You will sweep environments against rising APT campaigns using premium and open-source threat intelligence feeds, prepare status reports and follow up with stakeholders via Jira and the incident management platform to close the remediation loop.

Requirements

  • Security monitoring and incident response experience in public cloud environments such as AWS
  • Experience with cloud SIEM and SOAR platforms, DDoS mitigation tools and Layer-7 web-based perimeter security controls
  • Understanding of network intrusion methods, network containment and segregation techniques, and technologies such as sandboxes and intrusion detection/prevention systems
  • Ability to operate EDR, EPP and device management solutions according to best security practices
  • Decent programming skills for data processing, infrastructure as code and security automation
