Description

HelloFresh is hiring a Security Engineer for its Tech organisation in Berlin to strengthen the security posture of enterprise IT infrastructure, services and tools. The engineer acts as the first point of contact for security questions and concerns across the company and builds tools and processes that help colleagues work securely. Day-to-day work includes implementing secure configurations and policies for IAM, EDR, VPN, firewalls, email security, Slack and MDM, and deploying and operating modern solutions such as Zero-Trust, SSE/CASB, DLP and patch management. The role also covers AI-related controls, including Shadow AI and MCP integrations, support for security awareness campaigns and vulnerability patching, and technical and commercial evaluation of security products before procurement. The position follows a hybrid working model.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience hardening workstations, network equipment, servers and IAM platforms using CIS/NIST frameworks
  • Understanding and corporate use of generative AI, including LLM guardrails, MCP connections and gateways, and risks such as prompt injection
  • Ability to perform malware analysis on Windows, macOS and Linux machines
  • Understanding of modern social engineering attacks and how to prevent them with technical controls and training
  • In-depth understanding of common TCP/IP protocols and threats at each network layer
  • Good communication and reporting skills
