Description

Kombo is a Berlin- and New York-based startup that offers a unified API for HR, payroll and recruiting systems, giving over 400 customers access to more than 250 integrations through a single connection. As the first Scaled Customer Success Manager, you will own adoption, retention and growth for the scaled segment: roughly 100 customers and a two million dollar book of business. You will design the post-sale motion end to end, building onboarding flows, adoption campaigns, expansion triggers, risk signals and renewal processes, and back them with automation and self-serve enablement material. Alongside the scalable motion you will step into selective one-to-one engagements whenever customer signals show that a direct touchpoint will unblock onboarding or turn potential into a real opportunity. The role is on-site in the Berlin office and reports into the Customer Success lead.

Requirements

  • Expertise in Customer Success, Revenue Operations or Solutions, with experience managing a portfolio of more than 100 accounts
  • Has owned a revenue target for a scaled customer segment
  • Able to spot growth signals in usage and customer behaviour data and turn them into expansion opportunities
  • Automation-first mindset, having covered hundreds of accounts with emails, in-app nudges and workflows that do not read as robotic
  • Comfortable working with engineers and technical customers, including APIs and independently solving high-level technical problems
  • Has automated work with AI tooling such as n8n, Zapier, Notion or an LLM, and can walk through one build end to end
  • Able to answer own data questions by reading and adjusting a SQL query and setting up a dashboard
  • Willing and able to work on-site in the Berlin office
