Description

Raisin is looking for a Product Designer to join its Berlin design team and create desirable, usable digital products for a regulated savings and investment platform. You own design activities for features that help customers register, authenticate, manage their accounts and make payments, and you improve the internal customer-service and operations tools used to serve them. You lead rapid prototyping with generative and agentic tools, run feedback loops so AI-generated work meets a high ethical and quality bar, and validate designs with qualitative research, operational metrics and compliance feedback. You work with product managers, engineers and data specialists to translate complex backend, AI/ML and compliance requirements into interfaces people can easily use. You also contribute reusable patterns and components to Raisin's living design system.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in product design, ideally in fintech, platform services or another highly regulated, complex environment
  • A portfolio showing strong product design work in complex products and systems, including user-centered methods and real examples of AI/ML-driven features, agentic workflows or conversational interfaces
  • Clear understanding of designing for AI: system uncertainty, predictability, user trust, error prevention and human-in-the-loop feedback mechanisms
  • Practice with qualitative, quantitative and analytics-based user validation techniques
  • Good grasp of designing with generative and agentic tools for both concept exploration and high-fidelity delivery
  • Ability to take an active part in cross-functional workshops, including with data scientists and AI/ML engineers
  • A data-informed mindset, comfortable with security, compliance, operational KPIs and AI system metrics
  • Strong storytelling that explains complex AI logic and design decisions in simple, human terms
