Legal Counsel, Privacy

Delivery Hero is looking for a Legal Counsel, Privacy to join the Global Data Protection Office in Berlin, part of the global Legal, Governance and Assurance team. You counsel internal stakeholders on privacy compliance, support the implementation of privacy programs and ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations and industry best practices. The role has a strong focus on employee data protection across the group, including works council co-determination requirements, and on rider privacy matters such as the EU Platform Work Directive's algorithmic management provisions and Article 22 GDPR automated decision-making. You also run data protection impact assessments, maintain global privacy policies, handle proceedings with data protection authorities and contribute to AI governance frameworks.
