Description

adjoe is looking for a Product Manager in Hamburg to own the DSP-facing ad exchange capabilities of adjoe Ads, its programmatic in-app advertising platform. You will work across OpenRTB specifications, auction mechanics and mobile ad formats to turn programmatic complexity into clear product roadmaps, working alongside senior engineers on a platform of 20+ Go microservices on Kubernetes and Kafka handling around 1,500 bid requests per second. You will optimise win rates, timeout rates, bid density and supply path optimisation, designing throttling and routing logic that cuts infrastructure cost while maximising revenue across 120 million daily auctions. You lead DSP onboardings with the Demand Partnerships team and external partners, maintain OpenRTB compliance and translate partner feedback into detailed PRDs. You also define and monitor fill rate, bid rate, CPM and eCPM and own end-to-end delivery in an Agile setup.

Requirements

  • 3-4 years of product management experience, with at least 3 years in programmatic, ad exchange, SSP or DSP environments
  • Ability to work through OpenRTB specifications, auction mechanics and mobile ad formats (video, playable, native, display)
  • Hands-on comfort with system architecture, API design, JSON data payloads and latency tracking alongside senior engineers
  • Strong analytical capability to optimise win rates, timeout rates, bid density and supply path optimisation
  • Experience collaborating directly with external demand partners and leading DSP onboardings
  • Track record of defining and monitoring fill rate, bid rate, CPM and eCPM with data teams
  • Proven end-to-end ownership of execution, experimentation and scaling in an Agile environment
