Description

Flix is hiring an Expert HR Tech Solution Architect in Berlin to join the People & Organization Digital Transformation team and help shape its global HR technology landscape. Together with FlixTech, the role defines the target HR technology architecture across core HRIS, payroll, time and attendance, talent, recruiting and document management, plus the surrounding enterprise systems, for a complex multi-entity and multi-country organisation. It drives global HRIS transformation initiatives end to end, from evaluating technology options and building business cases through solution design, integrations, testing, cutover and stabilisation. The architect also establishes HR technology governance and control frameworks and acts as the bridge between HR functional teams and technology teams. The position reports to the Head of Digital Transformation and requires regular collaboration with colleagues across European, APAC and US time zones.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in HR technology transformation, HRIS, solution architecture, enterprise architecture or HRIS delivery
  • Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Technology or a related field
  • Strong HR domain and HR technology expertise across core HRIS, payroll, time and attendance, talent and recruiting systems
  • Demonstrable experience driving HRIS transformations, including major redesigns, platform revamps or migrations end to end
  • Strong integration and systems architecture knowledge, including REST APIs, OAuth 2.0, webhooks, SFTP, middleware and event-driven architectures
  • Experience supporting the design of HR target operating models, service-delivery models and technology governance frameworks
  • Experience with security and role models, segregation of duties, audit trails, internal controls and data privacy in regulated multi-country environments
  • Experience with cloud architecture and AI and automation technologies such as GenAI deployment, MCPs, n8n and Rovo Agents
  • Strong Jira project management capabilities
  • Fluency in English
  • Willingness to work from Berlin and collaborate across European, APAC and US time zones
