
Analyst - Education (m/f/d)
Description
Statista is hiring an Analyst for its Education division in Hamburg to join an international team of data professionals working on education projects. The role supports the maintenance and development of Statista's education rankings and data products, manages ranking projects with the data team and gradually takes on project responsibility and direct client contact. You will research and analyze primary and secondary data on education institutions across countries, plan and analyze international surveys, and present results in Excel and PowerPoint. Candidates should have a Master's degree (or a Bachelor's with relevant experience) in economics, social science or a related field, 1-2 years of data analysis or project management experience, and fluent English.
Requirements
- Master's degree (or equivalent) in economics, social science or a related field preferred; Bachelor's with significant relevant experience considered
- 1-2 years of experience in data analysis and/or project management, ideally in an education-focused research area or related research field
- Initial experience supporting data-driven insight projects
- Basic understanding of current education trends and policy landscapes
- Very good analytical and quantitative skills, high initiative and high quality standards
- Good understanding of Microsoft 365, especially advanced Excel
- Fluent English
- Highly structured, curious and motivated to work in an international, cross-functional environment
