Description

LAP Coffee, a specialty coffee chain with stores in six German cities, is hiring a Team Lead in Cologne to work directly with its leadership team. You will own the day-to-day success of one store, leading and developing the barista team, organising shifts and ensuring exceptional customer service. The role covers store performance and KPI tracking, inventory and waste reduction, health, safety and product quality, and community engagement with local businesses and residents. A minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in hospitality or retail F&B and fluency in English and German are required.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in hospitality or retail F&B
  • Track record in team scaling, inventory and supply chain management
  • Entrepreneurial, solution-focused mindset and adaptability to fast-paced startup environments
  • Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills under pressure
  • Proven ability to spot growth opportunities, test ideas and execute within tight budgets
  • Fluency in English and German
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
