Description

N26 is looking for a Finance Data Analyst embedded in its Finance team to help drive data-informed financial decision-making for a leading fintech. You will develop financial KPIs, lead complex financial analyses, support revenue forecasting, budgeting and cost optimization, and build and maintain financial dashboards aligned to company OKRs. The role also contributes to a self-serve data platform and promotes a data-driven culture through training and workshops. Prior finance experience is not required, but strong data-analytics foundations are essential, including SQL, Python/R, spreadsheets, dbt, git, and BI visualization tools. The position asks for 3+ years in a data analytics or finance role.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in a data analytics role with solid foundational knowledge of good data practices
  • 3+ years in a finance or data analytics role, ideally within fintech or financial services
  • High proficiency in SQL, Python/R, and Google Sheets/Excel for data modelling and analysis
  • Good knowledge of dbt and git to create and maintain data
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Looker) for financial reporting
  • Experience collaborating with engineering, business, and finance teams to build data solutions
  • Good presentation and communication skills to distil complex financial data into actionable insights
