Description

Flix is looking for a Working Student in Data Analytics in Berlin, working 20 hours per week in McDriver, the team behind the app used by Flix drivers, station staff and train attendants. The role helps shape the data foundation behind product decisions by writing SQL queries in Snowflake, extracting insights from dashboards and reports and defining business metrics for feature success. You will support the Product Owner, translate data findings for stakeholders and contribute to metric documentation. Candidates must be enrolled in engineering, computer science, mathematics or a related program with at least three semesters completed, and bring solid SQL, working Git knowledge and fluent English.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an engineering, computer science, mathematics or related program with at least 3 semesters completed
  • Solid foundational SQL knowledge and ability to write and read queries independently
  • Working knowledge of Git for version control
  • Fluent English, written and spoken
  • Genuine interest in analytics, data modeling, business metrics and translating business requirements into data solutions
  • Perspective on data products and data mesh concepts in modern analytics teams
