Description

Flix is hiring a Data Protection Officer in Munich for its team that combines compliance and data protection and is responsible for the group-wide protection of personal data. The role advises internal departments on data protection law, reviews complex data protection matters and works closely with the group data protection officer and their team. You will communicate GDPR requirements across the company, support departments in complying with them and design and deliver training. Candidates need 3-5 years of data protection consulting experience, a background in law, business law or (business) informatics, an affinity for IT, and German and English skills.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in data protection consulting
  • Fully qualified lawyer or law graduate (admission as in-house counsel not possible), business lawyer, (business) computer scientist or comparable qualification
  • Affinity for information technology
  • Ability to explain complex matters clearly and find pragmatic, data protection-compliant solutions
  • German and English language skills
