Description

T-Systems is looking for a B2B Sales Expert to develop new business for its sovereign cloud offering T Cloud, with a focus on demanding public-sector customers. You will identify, qualify and win public cloud and cloud transformation opportunities, build account and opportunity plans and drive them from first contact to contract closure. The role includes analysing customer requirements, tenders and IT landscapes, presenting the value of T Cloud to business stakeholders and IT decision-makers, and working with Solution Design, PreSales, Portfolio, Marketing and Account Management on proposals, demos and proofs of concept. Candidates need a relevant degree or professional qualification, at least five years in IT or telecommunications sales, business development or account management, and very good German and English. The position is offered in several German cities and is also available part-time.

Requirements

  • Degree in business administration, business information systems, computer science, engineering or a comparable field, or a comparable professional qualification with relevant experience
  • At least five years of experience in sales, business development or account management in the IT or telecommunications industry
  • Proven sales success in the enterprise environment, particularly in SaaS, IaaS, cloud or IT infrastructure
  • Extensive experience in new business development and developing new customer or buying-center opportunities
  • Very good understanding of cloud services, cloud transformation, public cloud and sovereign cloud solutions
  • Confidence engaging with management and C-level decision-makers
  • Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills in complex B2B sales situations
  • Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to work
  • Good understanding of procurement and decision-making processes in large enterprises and public-sector organizations
  • Ability to orchestrate interdisciplinary deal teams
  • Very good German and English skills
