Description

T-Systems, which provides connectivity, digital, cloud and security solutions to business customers, is hiring an AI engineer to shape its AI-driven products and services. You will own the end-to-end development, deployment and optimisation of machine learning, deep learning, generative AI and large language model solutions and turn them into production-ready applications using Python with PyTorch or TensorFlow. The role also covers implementing MLOps and data engineering principles on cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS, working closely with data scientists, software engineers, product managers and architects in an agile setting. Candidates need several years of experience building AI/ML solutions, practical experience with generative AI and LLMs, and strong knowledge of MLOps and cloud computing. The position is offered in several German cities with flexible working hours and the option to work remotely.

Requirements

  • Several years of experience developing and implementing AI and machine learning solutions
  • Strong knowledge of machine learning and modern deep learning technologies
  • Practical experience with generative AI and large language models
  • Excellent programming skills in Python
  • Confident use of PyTorch and/or TensorFlow
  • Experience developing, deploying and optimising production-oriented AI models
  • Strong knowledge of MLOps principles and practices
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms, particularly Azure and/or AWS
  • Knowledge of data engineering, including building and processing data pipelines
  • Experience developing scalable and reliable AI systems
  • Familiarity with agile methods such as Scrum
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills and experience working with cross-functional teams
