Principal Partner Manager - Channels (EMEA GSI)
Description
Datadog, the observability and security platform, is hiring a Principal Partner Manager for Channels focused on Global Systems Integrator (GSI) partners across EMEA. The role identifies and recruits new strategic GSI partners, enables existing partners through training, planning and joint selling, and coordinates integrated partnership launches. You will run regular business reviews with partners, work closely with Datadog's regional enterprise and commercial sales teams and generate partner-sourced pipeline and revenue. Candidates need 10+ years of quota-carrying experience in channel sales, strategic alliances or business development at a cloud or SaaS company, experience with leading SIs and willingness to travel 40-50% of the time.
Requirements
- 10+ years of partner-facing, quota-carrying experience in business development, strategic alliances or channel sales at a cloud services or SaaS organization
- Proven experience driving sales opportunities from lead generation to closure, negotiating agreements and building long-lasting partnerships
- Understanding of and exposure to working with leading global and regional systems integrators
- Ability to quickly understand technical concepts and architectural scenarios and explain them verbally and in writing
- Willingness to travel 40-50% of the time
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for taking initiatives from ideation to impact
- Passion for a fast-paced, sometimes unpredictable growth environment
- Background in SaaS and/or consumption-based software platforms
- Experience identifying market opportunities with a track record of initiating go-to-market plans and sales follow-through
