Description

As a Software Development Engineer & Project Manager for EMC measurement technology at Rohde & Schwarz in Munich, you develop hardware-near software for state-of-the-art R&S instruments such as spectrum analysers and EMC measurement receivers and shape agile project workflows with Jira. You accompany products from requirements analysis and design through project planning to implementation, define project goals with stakeholders, and ensure smooth handover of results. You build software components in C++ on Windows and Linux, realise device functions together with hardware development, and develop intelligent algorithms for measurement data processing. There is a path to grow into software project leadership over time.

Requirements

  • Completed degree in technical computer science, electrical engineering, communications engineering, or a comparable qualification
  • Extensive experience in project management of complex technical systems
  • Confident use of common project management tools such as RTC, Confluence, and Jira
  • Programming experience in embedded operating systems such as Linux and/or Windows with very good object-oriented programming skills, ideally in C++
  • Experience designing and implementing module control, and a good understanding of software-hardware interaction
  • Fluent written and spoken German and English
