Description

Flix is hiring a Junior Data Engineer for its Market Data Insights team in the Supply Division in Berlin. The team builds Flix's internal data products, including market intelligence, sociodemographic and holiday data, used worldwide to power demand forecasting, dynamic pricing and network planning. You would get hands-on ownership quickly and learn from senior engineers in a collaborative, supportive environment. It is an entry-level, hybrid role for someone with solid technical foundations and a drive to grow into a strong Data Engineer.

Requirements

  • Some programming experience, for example with Python (or Java/Scala), from a job, internship, university, a bootcamp or personal projects
  • Experience with SQL and an understanding of the basics of tables, queries and working with data
  • Curiosity about how data moves through systems and how pipelines are built and improved
  • Willingness to learn from others, ask questions and share ideas, and to work with people from different backgrounds
