Senior Infrastructure Consultant (m/f/d/x)
Description
At T-Systems International, the Senior Infrastructure Consultant shapes the future of the company's IT infrastructure through deep technical and consultative work. You design, implement and optimise complex hardware architectures with a focus on CPU, GPU, PCIe and NVMe technologies, and oversee hardware lifecycle management from capacity planning to vendor management. You drive hardware automation as well as firmware and BIOS management, apply IaaS concepts and remote management protocols such as Redfish, and ensure adherence to IT compliance standards such as BSI and ISO/IEC. The role carries no personnel responsibility and requires 7-10 years of experience.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of hardware architectures (CPU, GPU, PCIe, NVMe)
- Proven expertise in hardware lifecycle management
- Strong skills in capacity management
- Experience with hardware vendor management
- Proficiency in GPU technologies
- Knowledge of hardware automation
- Expertise in firmware and BIOS management
- Familiarity with IaaS concepts
- Hands-on experience with remote management protocols (e.g. Redfish)
- Solid understanding of IT compliance (e.g. BSI, ISO/IEC)
