
Senior Public Sector Specialist (m/f/d/x)
Description
At T-Systems International, the Senior Public Sector Specialist works on complex public-sector projects that digitise public administration at federal and state level, from conception and offer preparation to implementation. You advise customers on system integration and digitisation projects, including technical solution specification, quality assurance and delivery. You prepare and calculate offers for public clients under contract and public procurement law, and manage complex stakeholder landscapes to ensure timely, budget-compliant and high-quality delivery. The role requires at least ten years of public-sector consulting experience and German at native level.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of professional experience as a consultant in software development, integration or digitisation projects for public clients at federal or state level in Germany
- Profound consulting expertise in modern software architectures, modeling languages, requirements engineering, quality management and classic and agile development
- Extensive certifications such as CPRE/IREB, CARS, ISTQB, TOGAF, COBIT, ITIL and SCRUM or comparable
- Knowledge of public administration standards and methods (e.g. V-Modell XT, SAGA, WiBe, uFAB, XÖV, BSI Grundschutz, data protection, FIM)
- Experience in public procurement and contract law
- German at native speaker level and very good English
